Transforming the Baker/Donora Neighborhood into a Community of Choice

The City of Lansing has targeted Baker/Donora as a top priority for neighborhood revitalization. Baker/Donora neighborhood is defined by Pennsylvania on the East, Mt. Hope on the South, Cedar Street on the West, and the Grand Trunk Railroad on the North.

This house at 1609 Lyons is one of the sixteen affordable homes that the Coalition has restored to like-new condition in the neighborhood. In partnership with the City of Lansing, financial partners from the private sector, and community-based organizations,
