City of Lansing in partnership with the Greater Lansing Housing Coalition (GLHC) provides programs that allow low and moderate income households to buy their own home.

The City provides funding and technical assistance in support of the Rehabilitation Purchase Program. It helps GLHC acquire vacant residential structures that are rehabilitated and sold to income eligible families.

For information on the Program or the availability of renovated homes available for sale call GLHC at (517) 372-5980.

Foreclosure can be set in motion with just one missed mortgage payment.  There is FREE help for you.
You will get help free confidential help in a private meeting.

Certified counselors can help you hold onto your home today and protect your financial standing for tomorrow.  You will not be asked to pay a fee, join as a member or sign over your deed.

Hold on to Your Home is sponsored by Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties and the City of Lansing.

The website is filled with information that can help you understand foreclosure, what you are facing and options you might have. You can find contact information for counselors and explore advice on scams to avoid.

The best time to call is before you first miss a payment.  Your home is too important to you and your family for you to delay!  Foreclosure can happen to anyone and it is happening too much in the Lansing area.  Don't wait.
